New Nerds Gummy Clusters are tough to explain. They’re sort of like a fruit snack covered in Nerds. But better. They’re so good, they could only be created in a fantastical candy lab.
So that’s exactly what we told consumers.

To align with Nerds new push for inclusivity, STEM and overall Nerdiness, we developed a candy origin story. Plus, we created nine other stories that highlight unsung heroes in the science community.
Stories were posted to The Nerds Instagram. This is my favorite project I’ve ever worked on.
Our team focussed on diversity when selecting Nerd Origin Stories. A lot of great inventors go unnoticed. We took this as our chance to highlight some of the hidden figures that have shaped the world.
And, of course—the Nerd’s Gummy Clusters had their own origin story.
