Yeah, so maybe it didn’t happen like that. But, the client waned to some something boring. My partner and I pushed them and sold in an interactive, gamified banner ad that tapped into their famed mascot—Morris the Cat.
You’ve got 20 seconds to help Morris whack 15 bowls of 9Lives. Avoid the fishbones—he doesn’t like those. All you have to do it tap!
A landing page promoted the Whack-a-Bowl program—where Dollar General shoppers could play a quick game to redeem deep discount.
We further supported our promotion with social ads on both Instagram and Facebook.
